We can break through delusion and reveal the truth to quickly attain Bodhi. The combination of compassion and Prajna wisdom can widely benefit all sentient beings.

[ 非常重要的节日 ]
夏迦牟纳，大家好！
萨嘎月初七、初八是本师释迦牟尼佛出生的日子，对于佛教徒来说是非常非常重要的节日。
这样的话，我们说“佛诞节法会”，说“萨嘎月法会”或者说“随念佛陀法会”都可以。虽然名字不同，但道理是一样的，而且全世界共同的名字是“世界佛陀节”。
我们开这个法会今年是第十年，这是我们本师释迦牟尼佛的加持、上师与佛法僧三宝的加持，现在开得越来越好。
我们所有的佛教徒（本师释迦牟尼佛的弟子们）都应该是一条心的，为什么呢？我们的本师只有一个——释迦牟尼佛，我们修的法都是释迦摩尼佛讲的法，没有什么不同的，都是共同的。
全世界的佛教徒都想的是什么呢？就是要脱离轮回，解脱成佛，这不单单是我们的想法，全世界的佛教徒都是这样的想法。
这样的话我们有信心也好，皈依也好，对境就一位——本师释迦牟尼佛；修法就一种——本师释迦牟尼佛讲的法；想法也是只有一个——脱离轮回，解脱成佛。这是全世界佛弟子共同的认识。
[ 我们都是佛陀的弟子 ]
所以，像世界佛陀节（萨嘎月法会）这样的随念佛陀的法会，大家应该要聚合起来。
从地方来说，有一点区别，像藏传佛教、汉传佛教、南传佛教等等，不同的地方应该是有的，为什么呢？佛教传下去的方向有一点不一样，所以名字也有一点不同。
而且藏传佛教里面，教派也是不一样的，像格鲁派、宁玛派、萨迦派、噶举派、觉囊派……为什么呢？因为每位高僧大德度众生的方式不一样、地方不一样，那么参加的弟子也就不一样，所以如果分的话也可以有很多。
但是我们都是佛陀的弟子，就像刚才说的，我们的本师是释迦牟尼佛，我们的修法是释迦摩尼佛讲的法，然后我们所有佛陀弟子们的目标是什么？就是脱离轮回，解脱成佛，没有其他的目标。
所以，佛诞节法会开得越来越广，越来越好，越来越棒。这样的话，我也特别特别的随喜，非常的高兴。
[ 越研究越殊胜越有信心 ]
通过这个法会，全世界很多的小学生、中学生、大学生都有机会了解佛陀。学生们有很多聪明的、有善根的、善良的，他们也有智慧，关于本师释迦牟尼佛是怎么样的，他们有研究的机会，我们的本师释迦牟尼佛越研究越殊胜，越令人有信心。
断证圆满的功德只有本师释迦牟尼佛有，所有的过失、大大小小的障碍、习气都已经断除了，所有的功德都已经圆满了。所以我们的本师释迦牟尼佛越研究越殊胜越有信心.
“无上的本师”，越研究自己越知道，具有聪明智慧的人研究一下的话，信心自然就上来。而且本师释迦牟尼佛讲的法更不用说，佛法越研究越殊胜越圆满的，这样大家信心自然就上来了。
我们通过这样的法会，能帮助很多很多的众生和有缘分的人。这样一来，弘扬佛法利益众生像是开了一扇大门，能让很多人来到这个大门，来皈依三宝、念佛、闻思修法，很多人也有机会解脱和成佛。
[ 佛陀的金刚语 ]
即使没有达到这样的效果，我们通过这样的法会，能让很多地方听到殊胜的佛陀名号。关于佛陀的名号，大家要尽量宣传。“夏迦牟纳”、“夏迦特巴”、“释迦牟尼佛”这样的名号谁听到，谁的心里就立刻种下解脱的种子，而且菩提道不退转。
这样的话，以本师释迦牟尼佛为对境供养一枝花，我们就能解脱、能成佛。为什么？这是本师自己讲的，以本师释迦摩尼佛为对境做善事，善根一点也不会浪费，善根不会变成一半，也不会丢失，而且这辈子做很多善事，下辈子善根会增长广大。
即使我们还在轮回里，也会马上成为有智慧、有慈悲、有善根、度化众生力量非常强大的人，以后很快会成为了不起的菩萨、成就者。如果有无间罪业或者业障比较重的人，听到了佛号，以佛陀为对境供养了一枝花，即使堕入地狱，很短很短的时间就能出来，这是佛陀的金刚语。
[ 好好地祈祷释迦牟尼佛 ]
所以我们这样开萨嘎月法会是非常有意义的，我们有这样一个机会，真正的是佛菩萨、三宝、上师如意宝的加持。如果没有这样的加持，我们是没有福报参加这样殊胜的法会的，这个对境太殊胜太殊胜了。
大家这几天自己心里面观想本师释迦牟尼佛在我们的面前一直安住，然后好好地祈祷释迦牟尼佛，顶礼供养皈依本师释迦牟尼佛，观想佛陀赐给我们加持、灌顶，得到了佛陀的加持后，我们所有的业障都消除了。
如果心里这样观想，本师释迦牟尼佛讲的：“谁观想我，我就在谁的面前，一定要赐给他灌顶，一定要让他们得到非常大的加持。” 释迦牟尼佛在经里面讲的非常清楚，所以我们修仪轨的时候，不要散乱，认认真真地边念边心里好好地观想，这太重要了。

[A Very Important Festival]
Namo Shakyamuni Buddha!
Hello everyone!
The seventh and eighth day of the Month of Saga Dawa are the days when our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha was born. These are very, very significant holidays for Buddhists.
We can either say "Buddha's Birthday Puja", "Saga Dawa Puja" or "Complying with the Buddha Puja". Although the names are different, the principle is the same, and the common name all over the world is "World Buddha Festival".
(Puja ==> a Buddhist ceremony that involves offerings, meditation, and prayer, visualization, Mantra recitations)
This is the tenth year in which we have held Saga Dawa Puja. This is the blessing of our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha, and the blessing of our Guru and the Triple Gem of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.
All of us Buddhists (disciples of our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha) should have one mind and work together. Why? We have only one fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha. The Dharma we practice is the Dharma taught by Shakyamuni Buddha, there is no difference and are all the same.
What are Buddhists all over the world thinking about? It is to escape from Samsara and become a Buddha. This is not just our goal; it is the goal of Buddhists all over the world.
In this case, whether we have faith or take refuge, there is only one object in front of us who is our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha. There is only one goal that is to escape from Samsara and become a Buddha. This is a common understanding among Buddhist disciples all over the world.
[We Are All Disciples of the Buddha]
Therefore, everyone should gather together for Puja to commemorate the Buddha, such as the World Buddha Festival (Saga Dawa Puja).
From a local perspective, there are some differences, such as Tibetan Buddhism, Mahayana Buddhism, Theravada Buddhism, etc. There should be some difference, why? The direction in which Buddhism is passed down is a little different, so the names are also a little different.
Moreover, within Tibetan Buddhism, the sects are also different. Like the Gelug sect, Nyingma sect, Sakya sect, Kagyu sect, Jonang sect. Why? Because every eminent venerable with great virtue has a different way of liberating sentient beings, the locations are different and the disciples participating are also different. So, if divided, there can be many.
But we are all disciples of the Buddha. As just said, our fundamental master is Shakyamuni Buddha, our practice is the Dharma taught by Shakyamuni Buddha, and the goal of all of us is to escape from Samsara and become a Buddha, there is no other goal.
Therefore, Buddha’s Birthday Pujas are becoming more and more popular, getting better and better, and getting outstanding and excellent. In this case, I rejoice very much and feel extremely happy.
[Study More Deeply, Feel More Extraordinary, Have More Confidence]
Through these Pujas, many primary school students, middle school students, and college students around the world can learn about the Buddha. Many students are smart and kind, have good roots and wisdom. They can study about what our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha is like. The more we study our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha, the more extraordinary we will become, and the more confidence we will obtain.
The perfect and complete merits of both Nirvana and Enlightenment are only possessed by our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha. All faults and defilements, big and small obstacles and habits have been eliminated. All merits have been totally fulfilled. Therefore, the more we study our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha, the more extraordinary we will become, and the more confidence we will obtain.
"The Supreme Master", The more we study, the more we will know. If a wise person studies it, his confidence will naturally increase.
Not to mention the Dharma taught by our master Shakyamuni Buddha, the more we study, the more we feel remarkable and perfect. In this way, everyone's confidence will naturally increase.
Through such Pujas, we can help many, many sentient beings and people we had past connections with. In this way, we open a great door to promote Buddhism and benefit sentient beings.
Many people can come to this gate and take refuge in the Triple Gem. By reciting the Buddha's name, listening, meditating and practicing the Dharma, many people will have the opportunity to be liberated and become Buddhas.

Even if we do not achieve such an effect, through this kind of Pujas, we can make the supreme name of the Buddha heard in many places. Regarding the name of Buddha, everyone should try their best to promote it. "Shakyamuna", "Shakyatba", "Shakyamuni Buddha", whoever hears such name will immediately plant the seeds of liberation in the mind, will be on the Bodhi path and never turn back.
In this case, if we offer a flower to our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha, we will be liberated and become a Buddha. Why? This is what our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha himself said.
If we do good deeds with our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha as our object, the good roots will neither be wasted at all, nor be reduced to half, nor be lost. If we do a lot of such good deeds in this life, then the good roots will continue to grow vastly in the next life.
Even if we are still in Samsara, we will immediately become people with wisdom, compassion, good roots, and a very powerful ability to liberate sentient beings, will soon become great and amazing Bodhisattvas and achievers.
If there are people with Avici-punishable offenses or relatively serious karmas, hear the name of the Buddha, and offer a flower with the Buddha as the object, even if they fall into hell, they will come out in a very short time. This is the Vajra Speech of the Buddha.
[Pray Well to Shakyamuni Buddha]
So, it is very meaningful for us to hold the Saga Dawa Pujas. We have such an opportunity is because that we have the blessing of Buddha, Bodhisattva, Triple Gem, and Guru Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche.
Without such blessing, we would not have the merits to participate in such extraordinary Pujas. These celebrations are too outstanding and remarkable.
In these days, everyone should visualize our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha residing in front of us in the mind, pray well to Shakyamuni Buddha, pay homage, make offerings, and take refuge in our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha, visualize the Buddha giving us blessings and abhisekas, after receiving the Buddha's blessing, all our karmic obstacles were eliminated.
We must visualize like this in our mind, our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha said: "Whoever visualizes me, I must be in front of him, and I must give him abhisekas, and I must let him receive the greatest blessings."
Shakyamuni Buddha made it very clear in the sutras, so when we practice rituals, it is very important not to be distracted, but to recite them seriously and visualize them solemnly in our mind.
愿此萨嘎月法会尊胜诸方
愿此萨嘎月法会兴盛于全世界
愿此萨嘎月法会长久住世
愿此萨嘎月法会尊胜诸方
萨嘎月是本师大悲尊释迦牟尼佛的一个特殊节日。释迦牟尼佛，不只是我们佛教徒，而是这个世界上所有的人都需要的，是所有的人都应该忆念并探讨的。这是为什么呢？我们地球上所有人都期盼的是什么呢？是太平。实现太平的无上方法是什么呢？是正法。正法是谁宣讲的呢？是本师大悲尊释迦牟尼佛宣讲的。
正因如此，对我们共同的本师释迦牟尼佛在内心里何时也不应忘记，应当举行随念的法会，应当报答本师的恩德，对这件事情我已经、正在、将要持续不断地号召呼吁.
萨嘎月法会的供养对境和福田，是释迦牟尼佛，因为佛田是一个特殊福田，如果缘取佛陀而精进行持随念皈依、顶礼转绕、念诵名号心咒、供养赞叹、忏罪祈祷、回向发愿等的话，将圆满自他广大资粮又何需说呢？名为“释迦牟尼”的佛号，任何一个有情仅仅听闻，相续中也会播下解脱的种子且于大菩提道不退转，这是经中宣说的。
萨嘎月法会的举办方式： 从法会前一个月开始，分发吉祥物并妥善发布通知；身体调柔而止语；心中先行通过忆念本师恩德的方式在本师三身像前皈依并发起殊胜菩提心，然后观想本师大悲尊真实安住在自己面前，积累七支供资粮；念诵本师名号心咒、广略合宜的供赞、进行广大甚深的回向发愿，应当行持此具足三殊胜的圆满仪轨。
最后，在座间和法会结束后的时间段，寺院和佛学院一边忆念佛陀的恩德，一边精勤于法会的各项重要内容：向各自所在村庄有信心的农牧部众为主聚集的老幼，特别是大中院校在校学生等年轻人弘扬佛号宣名事业；通过各种方法成办宣传释尊事业；并以探讨佛法，传授皈依戒，郑重宣誓，呼吁吃素，放生赎命等积累资粮和以四摄成办有情利益的方法，精进于佛陀心喜事业。
对此萨嘎月大法会及其支分，我们佛教徒应当视为所有随念本师活动的根本。它是向全球宣传和清楚介绍本师大悲尊的水晶明镜；它是所有佛教修行者一切积资净障善根的生源如意宝；它是在衰弱众生相续中种下解脱种子并扩大喜乐规模的无穷喜宴；它是能够广大施设教众利益伟大举措的稀有幻化方便；它是无有偏私向全球发出无垢太平光辉的母亲。
现在正因如此，我们全部一起喜迎此萨嘎月法会，我们全部一起参加此萨嘎月法会，我们全部一起弘扬此萨嘎月法会。愿此萨嘎月法会兴盛于全世界，愿此萨嘎月法会长久住世，愿此萨嘎月法会尊胜诸方。

The auspicious Month of Saga Dawa is a special holiday for our great master and compassionate Lord Sakyamuni Buddha.
Shakyamuni Buddha is needed not only by Buddhists but by all people in the world. He should be remembered and explored by all sentient beings. Why is this? What is it that all of us on Earth are looking forward to? It is peace. What is the supreme way to achieve peace? It is righteous Dharma. Who preached the Dharma? It was preached by the Greatest Compassionate Buddha Sakyamuni Buddha.
Because of this, we should never forget our fundamental master Shakyamuni Buddha in our mind. A Dharma assembly to celebrate Buddha’s birthday should be held to commemorate it, and the greatest master should be repaid for his kindness. I have, am, and will continue to urge for this matter.
The object of offering and the field of blessing in the Buddha's Birthday Festival is Sakyamuni Buddha because this blessing field is a special Buddha field for Buddhist planting and cultivation. If you take refuge in the Buddha and take refuge diligently, pay homage and circumambulate, recite the name and mantra, make offerings, admire, pray for confession, dedicate and make vows, etc., you will perfectly attain the vast merits of yourself and others. Just by hearing the name of the Buddha "Sakyamuni", any sentient being will sow the seeds of liberation in the continuum and will not retreat on the path to great Bodhi. This is declared in the sutra.
How to hold Buddha's Birthday Festival: Starting one month before the festival distribute mascots and issue appropriate notices; soften your body and stop talking; first take refuge in the mind in front of the three-body statue of the fundamental Master Sakyamuni Buddha by remembering the kindness of the Buddha. Next, initiate the supreme bodhicitta, then visualize the Buddha, the Great Compassion, truly residing in front of oneself. Further, accumulate the seven branches of offerings; recite the mantra of the Buddha’s name, make broad appropriate offerings and praises, and make broad and profound dedications. One should practice this perfect ritual with [Three Supreme] qualities.
Finally, during the sitting period and the time after the Dharma Assembly, the temples and Buddhist academies remember the kindness of the Buddha while working diligently on the important contents of the Dharma Assembly by gathering the faithful members of the agricultural and animal husbandry tribes in their respective villages. Young and old, especially students in colleges and universities, and other young people carry forward propagating the dharma and proclaiming the name of the Buddha; use various methods to establish the cause of publicizing the Buddha; and discuss Buddhism, teach refuge precepts, solemnly swear oaths, call for vegetarianism, and release lives to redeem their lives. By accumulating resources and using the [Four Means of Embracing] to achieve the benefit of sentient beings, we can work diligently dedicated to Buddha's delighted goal.
For Buddha's Birthday Festival and its branches, we Buddhists should regard it as the foundation of all activities of the Buddha. It is the crystal mirror that promotes and clearly introduces the Buddha, the Great Compassion, to the world. It is the wish-fulfilling treasure that generates all the good roots of all accumulated resources and clears obstacles for all Buddhist practitioners; it is endless feasts that are the infinite seed that sows the seeds of liberation and expands the scale of joy in the continuum of weak sentient beings. It is a rare magical means that can enhance great measures for the benefit of the congregation; it is the mother who sends out the radiance of unsullied peace to the world without partiality.
Now because of this, we all welcome Buddha's Birthday Festival together, we all participate in this Buddha's Birthday Festival together, and we all promote this Buddha's Birthday Festival together. May this Buddha's Birthday Festival prosper all over the world, may this Buddha's Birthday Festival last for a long time, and may this Buddha's Birthday Festival be respected in all directions.
