How to Live a True Buddhist Life?

Question:

How can we keep our minds in a pure state of mind when we practice, and prevent worries and delusions from interfering with our chanting?

Grand Master:

We should pay more attention to the guidance of Dharma practice, read more books, listen more and think more, and regenerate our correct understanding and righteous thoughts.

Question:

How to contemplate the mind? What are the tips for contemplating the mind? I really want to practice Dharma, but I am hindered by worldly laws and various habits, and I feel annoyed and miserable every day. What should I do?

Grand Master:

There are two types of mind contemplation, the ultimate and the secular. Always check whether you have any evil thoughts and thoughts not according to Buddhist dharma in your mind. If you have any, get rid of them immediately. If you have a kind heart, you should rejoice in your kindness, continue to maintain it, and continue to grow; secondly, use the tips to observe the mind, but it already involves the secret method, so it is not convenient to talk about it publicly.

In the age of the end of the Dharma, it is more difficult to listen to, think about, and practice the Dharma. You should recite the [Prayer to Remove Obstacles] every day. No matter whether your mood is good or bad, no matter whether you encounter good or bad luck, it is very important to endure it in your heart, and slowly increase your tolerance and altruism Heart.

Question:

How to make life and Buddhism no different?

Grand Master:

When you get up, you should visualize yourself saving all sentient beings. When you open the door, you should visualize the door of liberation for all sentient beings being opened. When you eat, you should visualize making offerings to the Three Jewels of the Guru. When you meet people, you should be compassionate and talk. At all times, you should be gentle and submissive to others, just like you would your parents.

Regardless of whether others believe in Buddhism or not, we must make the aspiration to benefit and enlighten them in the future, etc. Even if you don’t have time to practice because of work, you must not interrupt your practice and Dharma assemblies.
