How to Rely on Guru Trustfully?
The Dharma is hard to hear, and the wise teacher is hard to find. However, relying on a Guru is an important first step in spiritual practice.
This requires merits and even more wisdom.
Let’s look at some of the guru’s answers to questions about how to rely on the guru.
Let us walk safer on the path of dharma practice.
1.
Question: I am a beginner. My Taoist friends told me that learning Tantra can be accomplished by relying on multiple gurus. So, how can I practice dharma accordingly by relying on multiple gurus?
Grand Master: You must have pure confidence in every guru, especially the fundamental guru, and you must be more respectful.
2.
Question: How can I know who my fundamental guru is?
Grand Master: A fundamental guru is a guru who gives you initiations, explains the tantras to you, and uses these tips to help you realize your intrinsic nature clearly.
3.
Question: How do you deal with gossip or guru’s teachings?
Grand Master: Dharma practitioners only look at their own minds, and they must adjust and tame their own minds. When you see external manifestations, you must have a pure view and not affect your own practice.
4.
Question: If I hear the mantra recited by the guru through the Internet, can it be regarded as receiving the inheritance?
Grand Master: The inheritance cannot be obtained. The audio is just a recording, not the current sound. If you have enough faith, the blessing of the mantra can help you receive the inheritance.
5.
Question: I took refuge with the great benevolent master over the phone. I have never received any initiation. Am I still considered a Tantra disciple? Is it possible to perform rituals for offering sacrifices to the Dharma protector?
Grand Master: If you have not received the highest initiation, you are considered a quasi-disciple of the Tantric Dharma (Master laughs), and you can offer Dharma Protectors.

Question: Pay homage to the Grand Master! I would like to ask Grand Master: What should lay people do with used incense packaging bags, paper with hymns or Tibetan characters on them, those packagings with Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, scriptures or Tibetan characters on them?
Grand Master: Kyabje Khenchen Jigme Phuntsok once said that if used packaging bags with Tibetan characters are scattered on a clean mountain, they can increase wisdom after being blown away by the wind. But as time changes, if Buddhists still do this now, it may annoy many people, thinking that we are polluting the environment, so now we can put it in a clean bag for a month or half a year, in a clean, insect-free place to burn the bag, in this way, has good intentions and good methods.

Question: My child is unwilling to study and is forced to do homework every day. What should I do? My beloved great master, please teach me! There are many family problems, and I don’t know whether to focus my time on my family or go to class and study.
Grand Master: Parents are their children’s first teachers. They should guide and educate their children with skill and convenience. Try not to let your children use mobile phones when they are young, and often tell them stories about the merits of the Triple Gem and cause and effect. Parents themselves should not watch more TV or play with mobile phones, otherwise their children will be difficult to manage.
8.
Question: My child has Asperger's Syndrome. I would like to ask Grand Master if the retribution of this child can be resolved in this life.
Grand Master: This is the child's own karma. You can release more lives for the child, do more good deeds, and then dedicate the merits to him, and pray for the blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Things that humans cannot do will turn around through the blessings of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
